I won't bother to re-post the famous picture of King Donnie, saluting the North Korean Army General who only offered to shake hands. Even Kim had a quizzical look on his face as he stood watching. Probably proud his General did not return the salute.

When I was in the army i used to salute 2nd lieutenants with my left hand. They never did catch on

During OCS, I got caught coming out of the mess hall by two 1st Lieutenant TAC Officers, side by side. I locked up, popped a salute. Took me 3 sets of twenty before I caught on to the mirror image thing and held my salute until properly returned. Not one of my more "attention to detail" moments.

If you ever read the book "The Art of the Deal" you would know that Trump understands that you should schmooze adversaries when negotiating with them. It build up their egos and allows you get more than you have got if you demeaned them.
