This afternoon (of course) Tater is going to give a speech in GA on the "voting right" scam the left is trying to foist upon America and relay his support of changing the Senate filibuster rules to that end.

But here's the kicker, the far left (like Stacy Abrams) is boycotting his speech saying they don't want speeches, they want action.

If McConnell can carve out an exception to confirming SC Justices without the 60 vote threshold and strickly on partisan grounds, Democrats can do the same. But I suspect the effort will be scuttled by a few Democrats.

I don't think that there will be a change in the filibuster rules. There are Democrats who are cool with being part of the team and voting "aye" on this crap-- IF they know it isn't going to pass.

But they'll be unveiled as well as the myth of Democrat Party unity, if they change the rules and actually vote on it.

In my humble opinion, poor Ol' Joe has no clue about what he thinks. He simply reads what others write and feed into the First Teleprompters. Then he nods and grins when Jill tells him that he is the greatest president in our history.

This is one of the saddest periods in our history. A time when we are supposed to ignore elder abuse.

Yep, the governor of WV appoints a replacement and unlike some states (like NC and five others) the replacement does not have to be of the same party.......LOL......So Manchin really better watch his six no matter what he does.

West Virginia is starting to figure out that they have been viewed by the Democrats as the guaranteed finger fuck since 1960. Now, WV holds their guns, their religion, the Bible, and the the Democrats’ balls. Elite Democrats in Boston, New York, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle are shitting themselves over the fact that West Virginia carries more power and leverage vs. those cities combined.

I don't think This legislation will get passed in the Senate anyway, they can't pass it through reconciliation and they are not going to get 10 Repub senators to vote for it even if all 50 Dem senators did vote for it. The real question is whether the Dems can find a way to abolish or at least skirt the filibuster rule by hook or crook.

So, all I see right now is lip service to the dem base. It won't pass but the dems have to make it look like they fought like hell to do it.
