Let me ask you this, outside of fuel, do you think prices will actually go back down once things are resolved?
Not go back down, but I do think price growth will slow a lot on stuff like light vehicles and real estate.

Can you think of a reason why enough cars or housing cannot be built to meet long term demand?

They can be once supply issues are worked out. I think the love affair with JIT inventory is going to, if not already, die a painful death.

So, the price of just about everything is up due to we are told supply line issues and shortages. Yet when those two things are fixed the higher prices are here to stay. And do not get me wrong, I know those things have an impact and are causing the prices to skyrocket. It just sticks in my craw that things never come back down.
