1. This is Trump's withdrawal according to the deal he made with the Taliban in 2020. 2. As part of that deal he released over 5,000 Taliban fighters back into the field. 3. He cut U.S forces in Afghanistan down to about 2,500 men before he left office. Biden could have built U.S forces back up to pre-Trump levels and kept us there another four years at $18 billion a year with more causalities. Afghanistan was a quagmire in every sense of the word. Thank God Biden had the guts to what the previous three presidents didn't have the guts to do...get out and take the flack for doing so.
