If you're on a fixed income inflation is your biggest enemy, and should scare the hell out of all of us.
Every time I go to make a purchase for anything now, you can see prices going up.

The Federal Reserve would jack up the prime rate with inflation fears and massive debts. They are not following past practices and even before the pst practices they changed a lot of things. Older people remember guaranteed savings rates. We used to get 3 or 4% guaranteed and then they stopped it putting us on whatever the interest rates were. At first it was higher. They knew what was coming in future years and decades. They foresaw the debts because of our social promises and the gall of expanding them and either this or we all would be paying over 60% in all taxes, fees, fines combined in all ways to keep the debts more manageable. So inflation will make more people poorer as it is a tax. And the insidious thing is we are nearing negative interest rates.
