No dumb shit, the Democratic Party is a diverse set of people whose way of thinking about the world is composed of a set of ethics, and diverse ideas about how people should live and act. The guiding principle is the Golden Rule. People who hold this set of ethics prefer critical thinking and evidence (rationalism and empiricism) over acceptance of dogma or superstition.
