It should apply to everyone. It should be on issues and policies, not children whether they are grown or not unless those children are in prison. In Trumps case, his "Children" are integrated into his business deals and are going to be included in anytime anyone questions his character. If they were separate from him then I would be one of the first to cry foul. Trump and Trump's life and family are all very unique in nature and, as in Trump, himself, really don't fit any of the molds. You want to have a Candidate that we can follow the "Rules" on, present one that actually comes close to being inside those rules.

Bu t you get my point, I hope. I believe that the comparison between Cortez and Palin is very apt. The only difference is, Cortez has the capacity to get better, Palin will be as nutty forever. So if someone like Biden runs, you have to look at his VP pick seriously as they just might inherit the job. Then again, we should be looking at the VPs seriously anyway since we should be investing in the future even if the President makes it full term.
