"We know former presidents take documents. The National Archives know they take documents, and that's something that's consistently occurred, no matter who the occupant of the White House was.

But Biden's situation is very diffetent.

This is more akin to Hillary Clinton, where there are violations of the Espionage Act because they have removed classified information from secure facilities. The intent is irrelevant. What you've done with it is irrelevant
."

"Any document he removed before he took the oath of office to become president of the United States is a violation of the Espionage Act."

No one can say it any more clear than this.

It does not matter if Joe Biden 'inadvertently' took TS/SCI material or took highly classified information for nefarious resons.

It does not matter, like Hillary, if he was too stupid to know he was committing crimes.
-- Having graduated at the top of is law class ... with honors ... and three degrees, Bidrn should know better / know the law.

With classified material reportedly found from all the way back to his time as a SENATOR, the fact is Joe Biden has, by the definition / wording of the law, violated the Espionage Act.

The feds overclassify everything because they think every word that comes forth from them is like the word of God. That's our "ruling class".

I knew that when Trump was investigated and I know it now. HOWEVER, I'm thoroughly enjoying the same dancing baboons who told us it was a BIG BIG DEAL when Trump had classified docs, that he had the ability to declassify, now shrug about Biden's OBVIOUS misdeeds, even when he was a senator.

I knew early on in the Biden presidency that God would have the last word---that the "win" for the corrupt, godless, crooked Dems would be anything but.

Watching it play out is really something else.

It may be an unfair characterization to refer to espionage. Maybe by the letter of the law, but it's probably quite a bit more complicated than that.

They will investigate and come to a conclusion I'm sure.

I forget now . . . there is a reason why they made these, right? :smoke:

1. Interesting opinion

2. It does mot matter if you believe this or not - the law is the law, and according to the law, Biden, at the least, engaged in Espionage.

They were planted, I believe by some Maga warrior who didn't know the law.

'Unfair'? It is THE LAW.

It seems part of the problem is too many people - to especially include politicians - have come to believie if THEY tjink a law is 'silly' / 'stupid' or tbat it is 'no big deal' / 'no harm no foul' to BREAK A LAW tben it is ok to do so.

This has GOT to stop, especially with the mishandling of classified / the Espionage Act.

FEELINGS have nothing to do with the LAW or whether you believe you should obey it or not.

Maybe, but intent is important.

NEGATIVE - NOT with the Espionage Act.

Go.back and read the vety 1st post in this thread - 'Intent' has NOTHING to do with whether you engaged in espionage.

Also, as I have repeated dozens of times - when you get read-into / read out-of the SCI program to gain the security clearance and access to that material or give up access to it you are briefed on all the legal 'do' and 'don't's, the 'can's and 'can not's. You are made fully aware of the laws...THEN YOU SIGN A DOCUMENT ACKNOWLEDGING THIS.

There is no 'I did not know you could not remove TS/SCI material from the SCIF'!

If you do so, you damn-well know you are doing it and know you are breaking laws ... to include the Espionage Act!

FAKE NEWS!!!!!

There is “zero truth” to the claims that vice presidents cannot declassify documents while they are in office, Kel McClanahan, executive director of the National Security Counselors, told VERIFY.

Richard Immerman, a historian and professor at Temple University, agrees. Biden had the ability to declassify documents when he served as vice president during the Obama administration, he said in an email.

A vice president’s authority to declassify information stems from Executive Order 13526, which former President Barack Obama issued in 2009 when Biden was vice president. That order specifies who is allowed to classify and declassify information.

It says that “the authority to classify information originally may be exercised only by the President and Vice President,” as well as “agency heads and officials designated by the president.”

This is a crucial part of politics and life though.

If two guys get in a fight outside of a bar, one is hit and falls on his head awkwardly and dies do we presume the man who hit him is a murderer?

There are different levels of legal responsibility and intent is crucial. Even moreso when it is a politician.

Now, maybe they determine intent, that is a larger issue and more serious if he had a specific motive. Yes, there should be consequences but it is not so black and white.

BIDEN HIMSELF acknowledged he had classified documents piled up in his garage and DEFENDED IT by saying 'It was in a locked garage next to my corvette. It's not like they were in the middle of the street.'

If someone had planted it he would not have defended it - he would have been mad as hell and demanding the DOJ find out who the hell tried to frame him.

Also, who had access to his garage, that Joe claimed was secure and impenetrable, and throughout his house ....besides HUNTER?!

FAIL!

We've had this discussion, and I debunked your shit.

A VP can only do so in the execution of his official duties.

1. The WH has already declared the material he took was for PERSONAL use, not for official business.

2. A SENATOR can not declassify shit, and the DOJ has reportedly found classified documents in Joe's house dating back to his time as a SENATOR!

FAIL!

Try harder!

At at least one point his doper kid Hunter had Red Chinese nationals staying over at those places containing secret documents. That family is one giant security risk, as are the vast majority of Democrats. It's blatantly obvious by now that 80% of them need to be deported.

what about the stuff from when he was Senator? and had xiden even claimed he declassified the stuff he took as VP?

that would be manslaughter at a minimum. still a felony. Not all crimes require a specific intent…some only need a criminal negligence.

YES. Its called 'Involuntary Manslaughter'...he is still responsible for the man falling, hitting his head, and his death.

...and why are you comparing 'apples' and 'oranges' in a pathetic attempt to defend tjis criminal who BY LAW committed Espionage?
