Biden is a disgusting criminal creep of course, but misrepresenting his comments only makes the people doing it looks ignorant and/or dishonest.

Having seen Biden make similar statements, and knowing he is a true racist, I always assumed the quote was legit.

Biden was speaking during the debate of S.1651 (95th Congress) in 1977. He had co-sponsored the bill. The bill never made it to a vote in either chamber.

The bill would have placed limits on integrated busing of schools to limit such busing to the bare minimum which would avoid a constitutional violation.

Even though the posted quote was not fully accurate, it appears that the point being made was on-target.
