Biden authorizes Ukraine to use US long-range missiles to strike inside Russia: report

Unprovoked? Not by a long shot.

Country after country surrounding russia has become a NATO member. I'm not defending russia but I can see why they're getting nervous! Especially when many of their next door neighbors now have NATO missiles pointed at russia.

Trump put a stop to all this by saying on TV...Ukraine will NOT become a NATO member. Russia then had no reason to invade them...but then biden...
What countries and what missiles? Did you know there are no land-based nuclear missiles in Europe?

Those countries that joined NATO were tiny countries with small militaries compared to the Russian Bear! Putin was constantly threatening them so they were the ones who were nervous.

The idea that NATO expansion isn't a threat to Russia is kind of silly. The alliance's entire point of existence is as a threat/deterrence to Russia. Russia has told the US and NATO time and again that it views Ukraine's entrance into NATO as a direct threat to its sovereignty and ability to defend itself against invasion. In response to that the US and NATO fomented the coup of a democratically elected government in Ukraine that was opposed to entering into NATO and installed a pro west government that was. Not sure what everyone thought Russia was going to do in reaction to that.

I see you have bought into the Russian propaganda. When was the last time NATO invaded Russia? Back during the days of the Warsaw Pact, the Soviets invaded countries for shits and giggles to stifle political unrest.

How many NATO troops were involved in that overthrow of the pro-Russian democratically elected government?

It not propaganda it's just what happened. NATO has invaded Russia the same number of times Russia has invaded a NATO country. NATO countries have invaded a number of other countries since its inception though.

Right because unless there were NATO troops on the ground the west couldn't possibly have fomented and supported a coup in Ukraine and a number of other former Soviet satellite countries in order to install pro western Governments. That would never happen.......

How many troops did we put in Libya? Iran in the 50's? Chile, Panama, I've lost count how many times we have either occupied, or ran a coup in Haiti and then had to occupy it to unfuck whatever Government we had installed there.

Actually, it is because Ukraine invaded the Kursk region of Russia. That is where the missiles can and will be used.
Against what targets, for what strategic goals and what would be American profit in it?
If the main goal is the destruction of Kursk NPP - Russia will definitely destroy (one way or another) at least one American NPP. If Biden's goal is just to kill some random Russian civilians - Russia will kill some Americans. May be, it is Biden's goal - just to cancel results of the election and openly declare dictatorship. Or, may be, they together try to play "bad cop and worse cop", to "improve their negotiating positions". It won't work, because Russia doesn't negotiate with terrorists.

You don't understand the difference in tactical and strategic obviously. They will not be used on civilian targets. That is a restriction on their use.

They will be used on civilian targets. That's what Ukrainian terrorists do. And that's what Biden needs for his escalation. More Russian and American civilians killed - more difficult it will be to the next administration to handle any peace. Or, may be with new 911 he'll try to cancel power transition at all.

And if we are talking about American military (and your words about restrictions mean that US keeps control on this weapons) attacking Russian military on the undisputable Russian soil, it means that there will be Russian military attack agaisnt American military on American soil (may be, launching some stealth cruise missiles agaisnt American bases in Alaska). And this will be one step closer to the WWIII.

So you missed insane John McCain and that poison Cow Nuland on the streets of Kiev every day instigating the mob? wake up, would the US have tolerated two Russian officials in Washington instigating Black lives matter or the Capital Hill riots? they peobably wouldn't have got out of the airport.

Actually you had. And you'd captured and still occupies 2/3 of the Mexican territory.
Don't forget Hawaii, the US stole that at gunpoint, they were also involved in invading Russia in 1918 to try and reverse the Russian revolution, some people need to learn their own history before they come on ere talking bullshit.

Thanks for showing your true self, Boris! Now I can ignore your stupid rants.

NSA-designate Michael Waltz, who has been criticized for being hawkish, tells Fox News that he 'was not' briefed on the allowance of US long-range weapons on targets in Russia and bemoans that 'this is another step up the escalation ladder, and no one knows where this is going'
Just a few days ago, President Biden met with President Trump at the White House and promised full cooperation with the transition of power. But Biden escalated the war with Russia without so much as a briefing. The promise of cooperation has already been exposed as a lie.

Angry Biden. Angry Biden White House. Outsmarted by Putin, defeated by Trump, removed by Obama, his precious and profitable project Ukraine collapsing. A man and a White House ruled by emotions. It's his final card to play, a fitting end to an awful presidency and sad legacy. As for Russia, they will deal with this as they have dealt with every single wonder weapon

isn't that happening now Admiral?

It wasn’t unprovoked and Mexico had at least as good a military as the USA in those days. Plus we bought and paid for that land, something Russia has neglected to do for any of its conquered territories over the centuries.

We didn’t invade Russia, we were invited in by the legitimate government of Russia. The Reds were the bad guys in that war.
