Biden agrees to pay climate REPARATIONS

US will pay up to $1BN to compensate developing countries for global warming - but gas-guzzling China WON'T have to pay into global fund

The United States will take part in the creation of and contribute to a fund that will pay developing nations to tackle climate change.

The fund, negotiated at the United Nations' COP27 Summit, was originally known as a 'loss and damage' fund and had been blocked by previous American administrations.

With a final climate accord already more than a day overdue, representatives of nearly 200 nations were anxious for an agreement they could bill as a step forward in the fight against climate change.

The nations involved are largely from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the south pacific, who see the matter as payback for a crisis that they did not contribute to but nonetheless could, in their view, destroy them.

Biden granted $1 billion to help developing countries tackle climate change, although it's unclear if that cash will go into this fund.

The president also faces having his plans stymied by the GOP-majority house, which would have to approve any funding.

And gas-guzzling China wouldn't have to contribute to any global fund, because it is still considered a developing nation.

US will compensate developing countries for global warming

You gotta hand it to them.....Democrats are the greatest money launderers this world has ever seen.

Impeach the motherfucker!

I would imagine it, like all other treaties, needs 60 votes from the Senate.

. . . and then there is the issue of funding which all needs to originate in the House. But that is probably just a technicality if it gets the approval of the Senate.

Congress isn't keen on Biden's $11 billion promise

". . . The first — and most immediate — hurdle that Biden faces is Congress. Passing any funding bill requires 60 votes to clear the Senate. That means Democrats need to convince some Republican lawmakers to join them.

The White House asked Congress for $5.3 billion in funding in its 2023 budget request in March, which would be enough, in combination with anticipated development finance money, to meet the president's pledge. But it is a big jump from what Congress has done in the past — roughly five times what it allotted for 2022.

Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, the top Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, denounced the White House's proposal as "another pipe dream of liberal activism and climate extremism."

And since the budget was released in the spring, the headwinds facing the administration have only gotten stronger. Inflation has remained stubbornly high, and some economists worry that interest rate hikes from the Federal Reserve could lead to a recession.

That would mean that adding billions in international climate aid could be a tough pill for some lawmakers — even some Democrats — to swallow. . . "

That's what the "Climate Change" thing is about at its core. It's a wealth redistribution scam.

The scam is co2 based climate change.

The climate does change. It's all about where land is. If we had two polar oceans, it would be a very different planet.

So please, everyone

Co2 based climate change is fraud. Co2 does nothing

Climate change is real and completely independent of co2

No amount of money is going to stop it from changing, either. It has always changed and always will.

climate change is about MONEY

This is why I am supportive that the GOP controls the House and the Dems control the Senate. Each one either supports the other or they cancel each other out. Anytime you have one party controlling the House, Senate and Presidents, you end up with one hell of a mess.

Correct.

To stop earth climate change requires stopping tectonic plate movement.

One simple truth about the co2 fraud is that they have no ocean rise. If there was an onging net ice melt, the oceans would rise. Ocean level is almost a thermometer of earth. But to lie about ocean rise, the warmers choose island chains in the south pacific. There islands are sinking. Hawaii is not sinking. Plymouth Rock is still right next to the ocean where it was 400 years ago. Florida is not sinking. Manhattan is not sinking.

But the marshall and solomon island chains in the south pacific are sinking, so the co2 fraud says "see oceans are rising..."

Two possible explanations for water rise/island sink...

1. Oceans are rising

2. The marshall and solomon islands and others are attached to a tectonic plate that is approaching the formation known as

Pacific Ring of Fire

In short, in 3 million years the marshall and solomons will not just be under the ocean...

They will be under earth's crust...

And THAT is the IDIOCY of the co2 FRAUD

The CO2 doesn't directly determine if the oceans level. It has to do with the amount of reflection of heat back into space. Too little C02 and we get colder because the reflection of heat just bleeds off at a higher rate. Too much CO2 and the more greenhouse happens and the temperature goes up.

Not according to the two and only two measures of atmospheric temperatures - satellites and balloons.

Co2 went up. Atmospheric temps did not.

Then your side FUDGED the data...
