The livestreamed sale will invite energy companies to bid on drilling leases across some 136,000 square miles (352,000 square kilometers) — about twice the area of Florida.

The US was one of the players that can manipulate oil prices because Biden moved into WH. It was because the US had oil. LNG and US dollars. Go back to read OPEC's press around the time Trump moved into WH. They designed to decrease the oil supply so that we were all happy families. Now, the US has no chips to be one of the players.
