this tune came on the juke box at my favorite hangout as the clock ticked near to midnight on the eve of my 18th birthday...
once midnight hit, I told the bartender that I'm now officially legal...
'n he gave me one on the house...
sigh... things were different back then...

We had some great music - but I really wish more of the people from the 60's would weigh in.

We heard this so many times on KLOS that we changed the words
Hit me with your wet snot!!
or slot, twat. crotch...
What? We were teenage boys!!!

fuckin' love that tune... but it doesn't count for me in terms of the thread's purpose...
I saw these guys in concert.
They were the warmup band for Peter Frampton, and they literally blew the doors off.
When Frampton got up there he sounded pretty lame.
Lessons learned. Don't book a better band than yours' to warm up the crowd.

When I was in basic/AIT in '76, I saw ZZ Top and Styx live.

Does for me, though! And I surely don't mind people fudging a bit. The whole point is - it was a lifetime ago. I just did a dedication for 1981 - my daughter was born then, but surely somebody in this forum graduated that year!

I saw them in concert before they started to grow their beards.
Boring. They only filled about 3/4 of the place so the sound echoed all over the damn place.
