I've lived in Florida for over 65 years. Stores anywhere along the forecasted path are stripped clean of generators, non-perishable food, water, batteries, whatever. The storm passes or misses, once the power is restored, a week at most and the shelves are full again.
This is not your and Bernie Sanders' dream countries of Cuba or Venezuela. Our supply lines have not been cut, logistics will soon fill the shelves as people are not going to continue to daily buy what they have over the past week. That is the normal flow of things.
