Because of Baltimore, U.S. will turn hard right in next election
Nonsense.
The US will turn back to the right, because the long, failed experiment with liberal policies is over. That would be true whether out-of-town thugs were triggering riots in Baltimore or not.
For the last six years the American people have gotten a good look at what liberalism really is, and what its results are.
Liberalism tends to make promises that:
(a) Government cannot possibly fulfill, and
(b) government has no authority to legislate for.
As a result, liberalism always fails to deliver on its promises, and the result is disappointment and frustration among the citizens, plus an overall lessening of prosperity and safety in the society.
The Baltimore riots are merely a symptom of liberalism's failures. If the thugs hadn't rioted there, liberalism would still be a failure, and riots are bound to happen somewhere.
But amidst their fear, destruction, and failure, the riots do serve one good purpose: They bring the failure of liberalism to the attention of people who normally don't pay attention to government. It's a steep price to pay, but when liberals run things, we pay in many ways, not all of them financial.
The country will not turn back to common-sense conservatism because of the Baltimore riots. They will turn back to common sense because they have had enough of exploding debt, being forced out of their health care plans and compelled to buy plans they don't want, being spied on by big government, being raided by liberal prosecutors in their homes at three in the morning, being told that the cops who protect us from thugs are the problem when they aren't, seeing thugs riot in city after city for faked excuses like "he had his hands up and was surrendering" when he didn't... and because of the Baltimore riots.
