Beating Back the Radical Rightwing's "Stolen Valor" BS

Nobody is concerned about Chinese "culture", they are the most powerful COMMUNIST country in the world. You and Walz are ready to bow down to them, Trump is not.

again, starting WWIII with China over nothing would be pretty stupid.

China isn't an enemy and it isn't a threat, and we need to stop making enemies that aren't there.

Congressman Walz has a personal history with the Red Bulls, having retired in 2005 as command sergeant major for the 1-125th Battalion of the 1st Brigade Combat Team: "I served alongside these Soldiers for many years and I could not be more proud of them. They endured their extended deployment with patience and determination and their distinguished service record in Iraq speaks for itself. Today, every Minnesotan should be proud to call the Red Bulls our neighbors and friends."

Waltz served in numerous leadership positions during his National Guard career, records show. He achieved the rank of command sergeant major, briefly serving as the top enlisted soldier for the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery Regiment before his retirement. He ultimately retired at the rank of master sergeant because he did not complete sergeant major training requirements before his service ended, according to the Minnesota National Guard.

Walz enlisted in the Army National Guard in Nebraska in 1981 and retired honorably in 2005 as the top enlisted soldier for 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery Regiment, in the Minnesota National Guard, according to a copy of his records provided by the Minnesota Guard. He reached the rank of command sergeant major and served in that role, but he officially retired as a master sergeant for benefits purposes because he didn't finish a required training course, according to the records and a statement from the Minnesota Guard.

While Walz retired two months before his unit received alert orders to deploy to Iraq, the attacks on Walz’s military record are part of the race from both parties to define the relatively unknown governor after he was tapped Tuesday as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate. Walz’s 24-year military service is one of several facets of his background that appeal to voters that the Harris campaign is trying to reach with his selection – and that Republicans are trying to blunt by painting him as an out-of-touch liberal.

Right-wing media are reviving old smears pushed by political rivals of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz about his retirement from the military, accusing him of “stolen valor” and misleading their audience about the reality of his 24-year service record with the National Guard. Specifically, right-wing media are claiming that Walz resigned and “abandoned” his National Guard unit and resigned after the unit received deployment orders to go to Iraq when in reality, Walz resigned two months before the unit received orders, and Walz likely submitted his retirement papers even earlier.
They won't get away w/what they did to Kerry. This time everyone knows it's BS! All they have are lies and smears!

Can you explain why he is wearing a US Special Forces hat in this picture???

The stolen valor was him claiming he carried a gun in war…

JD Bowman had no room to make any comments. He was a correspondent. He carried a pen. He was nowhere near war.

I can buy one of those hats at the
dollar store and wear it right now.
WTF are you talking about?

Assuming it's not photoshopped, military units give out souvenier hats all the time.

I'm guessing Amazon.com. :auiqs.jpg:

He campaigns with it on...

That ain't right.

"I do not recognize my party. I have something to say to those of us who are in the middle: You don’t owe a damn thing to that party. You don’t owe anything to a party that is out of touch and hell-bent on taking us backward.

And by all means, you owe no loyalty to a candidate who is morally and ethically bankrupt. In the spirit of the great Senator John McCain, please join me in putting country over party and stopping Donald Trump."

Guy Who ‘Swift Boated’ John Kerry Is Back At It, This Time To Help Service-Dodging Trump

Chris LaCivita is reprising his 2004 attacks, this time against Dem VP nominee Tim Walz and for the benefit of Trump, who famously avoided serving in Vietnam.

WASHINGTON — Two decades after attacking a fellow Purple Heart recipient in a political campaign, Chris LaCivita is back at it, this time in service of Donald Trump, who dodged military service by claiming he had bone spurs and who later called U.S. service members “suckers” and “losers.”

Much more at the link below...

Just remind them that Trump is a multi-time draft dodger who has a history of mocking military service and soldiers. The internet is far more available now than in 2004; swift boating BS won't work because people can just look things up on their phone quickly and easily.
Joe “5 Vietnam Deferments” Biden

Any sensible person understood what he was saying, that a weapon of war carried by soldiers has no business being on our streets.

That’s not what he said, he said “weapon of war, like I carried in war”

He said what he said.

Was he deployed? Did he ever claim to have been in combat? I don’t believe so

Walz talks about the weapon he carried in war…

I think Vance’s’ criticism is valid.

He's literally telling a joke, laughing, smiling and including the words "you see what I did there."

Clearly a joke. Clearly.

Clearly a left wing asshole. Just like you.

Of course you think his criticism is valid. You're a cult member.

I do believe Vance did say he served in Iraq.

Kerry was swifted boated for beating up an officer who was a coward on the Mekong riverine force.

Walz is honorable. Lacivit never was.

Beating Back the Radical Rightwing's "Stolen Valor" BS

So, aside from his years of emphasizing an inaccurate portrayal of his service and how he left it, where is the stolen valor story wrong?

This account is run by a very stupid person. Walz is honorable? LOL

Let his biggest city burn for “social justice”
