I have no use for religion in general and even less respect for the catholic church but religious music is some of the most beautiful. I don't believe in prayer so I didn't watch the video.

Dark mater and energy are both real yet can't be quantified by current technology. Wouldn't rule out souls too hastily.

Actually, The soul is composed of your conscious and your emotional nature/character


Now how that escapes your brain upon your death is a mystery. Stranger still, why the rest of your subconscious does not come along for the ride makes the whole concept of the soul after disentanglemt from the flesh seem preposterous.

But then, the mind and psychology was not that well understood around 4 A.D.

To put this in a nutshell--your subconscious self is the true self. Yur conscious is like a projection of who you wish to be up on the world--its substance is based in the subconscious. Similiar can be said about your emotional nature.
