On the one hand, McBride is a biological man and they shouldn’t really expect exceptions to be made ti allow them to use a woman’s public restroom.

On the other hand, I think people like Nancy Mace is being a drama queen when she says she’s “scared” or “intimidated” by someone like McBride using the same restroom.

McBride presents as female. When they use the restroom they’re gonna walk in, sit in a stall with the door closed, do their business, wash up and walk out.

If you’re being truly honest, what part of that could possibly bother anybody?

Maybe the solution to all this is to not have gendered bathrooms whatsoever. Europe has had co-ed public restrooms since at least the early 2000’s when I visited. No problems. No woman was raped or felt unsafe just because men urinated in the same public restroom they did. What’s the big deal anyway?
