Now comes the retreat. Blaming Bashar is difficult to prove; so let’s blame the regime!
Never mind this:
Now comes the joke:
President Truman going through the United Nations to halt Communist expansion in Korea was the last time the American people ever got anything from that foul organization. North Korea invaded South Korea. Truman intervened when the Soviet Union failed to attend a Security Council meeting and exercise its veto. Putin is not going to make that mistake in Syria.
NOTE: Truman did the right thing in Korea. Since then, touchy-feely freakazoids and ruling elitists are the only ones who get what they want from the UN.
No matter the issue Americans have been losing ground ever since Korea, yet Kerry is calling for Assad to give his chemical weapons to the United Nations. To me, it looks like a last ditch effort to salvage something out of the Syrian debacle, and, at the same time, make the UN look useful. The joke is that Putin is sitting in the catbird seat while Kerry and Administration busybodies are on their knees begging for a face-saving crumb or two.
Universal Police Force
The Korean War was called a “Police Action.” I’ve yet to hear anyone call bombing Syria a police action although that is the most apt definition. I guess that phrase is too scary. It might remind Americans, and the world, that the US military is being transformed into a universal police force everywhere except fighting the war against Islamic fundamentalists and Communism.
Whenever the United Nations puts its stamp of approval on military coalitions, those coalitions are not the same as military alliances that like-minded allies enter into. The UN military coalitions that are always being encouraged are nothing more than American quislings leading the UNIC’s relentless march towards controlling a universal police force which will enforce a global economy. That police force will be called a Universal Peacekeeping Army up until the day all opposition is silenced; then the lie will no longer be needed.
The trek towards UN omnipotence is being led by American tax dollar parasites of questionable loyalty for the purposes of protecting their bodies, their incomes, and their privileges from the caprices of cross-border wars. That protection comes at the cost of American private sector liberties.
As an added bonus this politically powerful group will increase their own entitlements on a global scale. To cite just one possible entitlement: In the not too distant future every well-positioned government leech in every country will be above the law —— with no fear of punishment coming from any judicial system in the entire world; Ã la Clinton, the Waco Massacre, and the American judicial system. Proof: The primary duty of every police force is to protect the rich and powerful. Catching criminals comes in a distant second.
Every nation will become a police state that is reinforced by the UN’s universal police force. To better understand how that will work, just remember this: That which we call a police force in a free society is called an army in a dictatorship. Once the threat of cross-border wars has been laid to rest every national army must transform itself into a police force committed solely to suppressing private sector liberties or cease to exist.
The populations in Third World countries will be brutalized from day one by their own governments. Slowly, and with unstoppable progress, the sadistic abuse of private sector individuals will spread to Second World countries. After every private sector citizen in First World countries has been disarmed, the governments in those countries will join the rest in mistreating their own citizens.
History shows that on those rare occasions when freedom has been wrested from oppressors, the process of destroying that freedom begins with envy and ends in the halls of government. Look at American private sector freedoms and you’ll see the blueprint in motion. Americans were most free on December 16, 1791.
The individual’s freedom to work for himself rather than work for the government has been going downhill since December 1791 with a noticeable acceleration taking place in 1861 —— that velocity continued to increase dramatically throughout the taxing twentieth century.
Those private sectors that still have a few freedoms today will suffer the most once UNIC political saviors remove their masks. On the day the masks come off in the United States those personality types who always lust after absolute political power will possess all of the brute strength they have been striving for. Then there will be no more talk of liberty as Americans now understand it. Liberty, to the dictators wielding absolute power, will mean the liberty to get even with previously free private sector individuals because they took so long to submit to their government masters. Every score will be settled. Centuries of totalitarian frustration in the United States will be compensated for with cruelty; every knee will bend, every unbowed head will invite a bullet.

LONDON — Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that Syrian President Bashar Assad could resolve the crisis surrounding his purported use of chemical weapons by turning "every single bit" of his arsenal over to the international community by the end of the week.
John Kerry: Syria Crisis Could Be Resolved If Bashar Assad Handed Over Chemical Weapons Stock
Rebuttal:
President Bashar al-Assad did not personally order last month's chemical weapons attack near Damascus that has triggered calls for US military intervention, and blocked numerous requests from his military commanders to use chemical weapons against regime opponents in recent months, a German newspaper has reported , citing unidentified, high-level national security sources.
The intelligence findings were based on phone calls intercepted by a German surveillance ship operated by the BND, the German intelligence service, and deployed off the Syrian coast, Bild am Sonntag said. The intercepted communications suggested Assad, who is accused of war crimes by the west, including foreign secretary William Hague, was not himself involved in last month's attack or in other instances when government forces have allegedly used chemical weapons.
Assad sought to exonerate himself from the August attack in which hundreds died. "There has been no evidence that I used chemical weapons against my own people," he said in an interview with CBS.
Now comes the retreat. Blaming Bashar is difficult to prove; so let’s blame the regime!
But the intercepts tended to add weight to the claims of the Obama administration and Britain and France that elements of the Assad regime, and not renegade rebel groups, were responsible for the attack in the suburb of Ghouta, Bild said.
Never mind this:
Russia has called on Turkey to share its findings in the case of Syrian rebels who were seized on the Turkish-Syrian border with a 2kg cylinder full of nerve gas sarin.

Now comes the joke:
But Obama is facing stiff resistance from Democrats and Republicans in the House of Representatives, who fear involvement in another Middle East war, and from Assad's main ally, Russian president Vladimir Putin, who has said any military strikes conducted without prior UN approval would be illegal.
