From what I know of the case...
There was a guy trying to build a house in a secluded urban neighborhood.
People kept ripping him off. Taking stuff from the jobsite or vandalizing it, or fucking with it or whatever. So he asked for help from the neighbors and somebody installed a surveillance camera.
Well, they found a suspect. They got him on video. A couple of them call the police. The neighbors go on alert.
And they start following the stranger while waiting for the police, maybe even order him to stop.
At some point, the perp attempts to steal a shotgun right from an innocent citizen's hands.
Darwin Award!

And I could continue posting for a long while. The owner claims to have never spoken to the McMichaels. He further insists that nothing was stolen.
It is kind of hard to be a burglar when you don’t take anything.

His lawyer is playing CYA to avoid racist hate crimes directed at her client.
And that's kind besides the point anyways. Usually what gets stolen from jobsites is contractors tools and/or materials. Stuff like that. The owner of the real estate might never even know about it. And unless the theft amounts to thousands of dollars, it doesn't get reported because all that will do is drive up your insurance rates. It's not worth reporting it.
One thing for sure though, somebody put a surveillance camera there for a reason.
And DAN attacked an innocent citizen and tried to steal his shotgun. That is on video. DAN thought he was badass. And from the video you can see that DAN was indeed very quick. DE or DB quick. Scary quick. Obviously played some football. When he attacked, grabbing the shotgun by the wrong end, DAN left the guy with the shotgun no option, no way out, no way to de-escalate.
That spur-of-the-moment attempted robbery didn't work out so well for DAN though, did it?
Why is my name published in this post above like that ???
