The creators of pandemonium... Trump and Barr.
Is Roger Stone worth all this crap?

"According to a report from Vanity Fair on Wednesday, President Donald Trump wants to commute Roger Stone’s sentence before he must report to prison on July 14.
Stone, who has long been pals with Trump, was convicted on seven counts and sentenced to over three years in prison (40 Months) after witness tampering, lying to investigators, and a slew of other things."

"Attorney General Bill Barr “has told Trump not to do it, and if he does, there will be a mutiny at DOJ,” Vanity Fair cited a source briefed on the internal debates"

Barr is worried he too will be impeached, or worse, if he continues to obstruct justice (which he has done repeatedly to protect Donald Trump). Hence his announcement.

So, Barr is OK now, eh?

You are an absolute fucking idiot.
In case you forgot.

Pardoning someone isn't "obstruction of justice". It wasn't when Clinton did it and it isn't now. If you'll remember Clinton pardoning a felon when he was screwing his wife? Or when Clinton pardoned Roger Clinton, part of the Clinton Brothers Cocaine Cartel in Mena, Arkansas?

That was different.

In your feeble mind.

There will be no pardon prior to the election

What else ya got?

Prior to the election, he will get away with maga stuff after the election, if you think you seen how nasty he can be, you haven't seen nothing yet, IF he gets re-elected.

A known fake news outlet citing an anonymous source, again.

You sure are gullible.

It’s your thread.

Oh good grief, you are so dense and incapable of comprehending the written word. His obstruction of Justice had nothing to do with giving anyone a pardon, he DOESN'T HAVE THE POWER TO DO SO.

I agree that I haven't seen anything.
Given the circumstances he has been very controlled and focused.

A lesser man would have used technology and his loyalists to pull enemies out of their homes at night and gut them in the street.
Sort of a Americanized night of long knives.

Barr is a smart guy and he's right politically. Stone has to stand on his own for a while, even though he was railroaded. But you never know about a guy like Trump who likes doing the right thing. He might just pull the trigger and pardon him. But in this case, I seriously doubt it.

Stone was guilty as sh.t.

YOU of all people, are calling someone else “an absolute fucking idiot”? Oh the irony! :2up:

I don't think so. He was accused of threatening a witness, but the witness didn't see the statement as a threat at all. Further, the jury forebroad was biased against Stone- all accused in this country are entitled to a trial from an unbiased jury.

Mr. Stone is at least entitled to another trial- if the judge is unwilling to seek justice, President Trump will do the right thing and just pardon the man.
