It serves as yet another reminder that we need to get rid of the presidential pardon. Its long since outlived it's intended purpose--to correct errors made by the judicial system. I wonder if any candidates running in 2028 will run on such an issue.

It would take a constitutional amendment to change the pardon power. We need to do it. I also agree that Clinton has abused it, so did Biden but Trump has not only abused it, he has made a profitable business off it.

For starters, Trump and his family of grifters profited greatly from the pardon of Changpeng Zhao:

Well, what do any of us get from discussing politics? Blow off steam maybe; try to change minds, or rather attempt to sway the undecided. There is not much we can do to sway those in power. but since we live in a country that allows us to discuss politics without fear of retribution, it is great right to exercise so long as you keep you can keep your blood pressure down.

There are exceptions to the rule when things get so bad that a political wave takes place. Political boards may give an indication of that. Maybe I will go on Kalshi. Those betting markets may be a better indicator of what is to come.
