Barr Out

CNN Is reporting Barr is Gonzo:

Spanky was Trump's 25th (I think) cabinet secretary to be fired/resign.
.

How soon before Billy Boy Lawyers Up.

Just as with former appointees ran afoul of der GroppenFurhrer, he found that loyalty the Impeached Orange Russian Loving Draft Dodger goes only one way. As soon as he said NO to something that could have seriously fucked this country up, 45 cut him off.

AT THIS POINT, I THINK IT’S FAIR TO SAY THAT THE “INTEL COMMUNITY” IS A CANCER WITHIN OUR SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT: US intel veterans lied about ‘Russian plot’ — and the media bought it hook, line and sinker.

They didn't "buy it" as much as actively participated in the fraud

“In this case, it was former US intelligence officials who were spreading disinformation in an attempt to mislead the American public about a consequential matter touching on the front runner in an American presidential campaign. The call came from inside the house. Anyone believing the officials, who used their past titles and long experience to lend credibility to their letter, would have been shocked to learn last week that Hunter Biden is under federal investigation for tax crimes.”

Plus: “This is the kind of story voters should be aware of when choosing a president. And they would have been if there hadn’t, in effect, been an American conspiracy to misinform people, led by former US intelligence officials who shamefully abused the public trust.”

There was disinformation here all right, just not from Russia. And many people will regard the collusion involved in suppressing this story pre-election as rendering a Biden presidency illegitimate.

What a terrible link.

Worst AG in modern history

Maybe he can have a party with Jeff Sessions

No. I'd say he was pretty damned good as AG. Much better than Holder. You just didn't like his investigations into Russia gate, or Barry boy. Of course Durham's investigation will stop once Biden takes office, if he does, an some pretty political criminals will walk. Of course you don't mind. Being a dem idiot and all.

As for his resigning, which he did with a great letter, I'd say he's just leaving cause you know Biden will be letting him go. Why wait. I sure wouldn't.
Law.students will be taught Barr's tenure as an example of corruption of the office of attorney general.

I doubt that. Holder could have taught that course because he surely was a corrupted POS.
You can count on it. Outside the tiny trump cult, very few if any agree with you guys's talking points.

If you say so. LMAO
Step outside the bubble and see.

Reading this thread brings me close to virtual despair. Bill Barr was probably the best Attorney General in the past fifty years. Among attorneys who are not compromised (Leftist) this is a consensus opinion.

He is resigning NOW because he does not support the continuing challenges to the election results, and because he does not want to be associated with some of the actions that the President is contemplating during the last three weeks of his [first] term.

That's it. It ain't complicated.
Barr was one of the most unethical AGs in history, turning the DOJ into the president's personal defense attorney on a scale we will hopefully never see again. History will record him as the toadie who made a statement mischaracterizing the Mueller Report in advance of its release and for throwing the DOJ into courtrooms as Trump's personal defense team. And this just scratches the surface of the pile of ethical norms Barr shattered and examples of what can rightfully be called blatant corruption. The country is going to have to make new rules to prevent another AG from acting like Barr. His tenure will be taught in classrooms as an example of the corruption of the office of AG and why we had to put protections in place to prevent many of his actions from recurring.
You are a moron. You obviously cannot tell the difference between defending the Presidency and defending the President. You are a moron. Barr has been exemplary.

Protecting the Office of the Presidency would be to release the full Mueller report without sabotaging it first. Protecting the Office of the Presidency would not include protecting the presidents political allies. His tenure will be taught as what happens when someone corrupts the Office of AG.

What a terrible abuse perpetrated by these frauds that the Fake News Media so happily used to influence the outcome of the election. Joe is illegitimate.

This reversal and deflection of disinformation from Russia to all our Intell Agencies is precisely what Russian disinformation is designed to do: cause confusion, distrust, and primarily whip up and keep chaos out front and against our entire system of government and democracy.

Trump is great at the game, too.
