Ditto here. Word for word. I was a gay magnet. I think it was because I was nice to these guys. To be frank, the gays were more pleasant than jocks. Many bodybuilder types are assholes, and it's because they're insecure. They build this hard shell of muscle to compensate for insecurity.I have been a gym rat since I was in college, so I've always been physically fit and I've noticed over the years, especially when I was younger, that I seemed to get a lot more personal attention from male flight attendants than female ones. My wife even noticed it. I even got a few free drinks on flights when I was sitting in a cabin in which I was supposed to be paying for them.It doesn't seem to happen as much now that I'm in my 40s.

Some parts of the department remain under a hiring freeze
