The vice president sets the record straight:

Pence argued that the move was not a demotion for Bannon who serves as the Chief Strategist for President Donald Trump.

“With H.R. McMaster as our National Security Advisor, and the president’s action adding the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, adding the Director of National Intelligence, and moving some of our senior personnel off the National Security Council just simply represents a very simple routine evolution of the national security team around the president,” Pence said.

In other words, the president is allowing the National Security Advisor to select his own staff. Something any good manager would do.

What we're starting to see happening, is they're starting to lose track of all the lies they told to get in power and to cover up likely treason. People are going to get jail time.

The only question is, can Trump convince enough people to fall on their swords so that he can stay protected? I don't think so.
