There are few things in the world more stupid than banning books. People are curious creatures by nature, and creating an artificial taboo only magnifies people's curiosity about it. Americans are beginning to follow Europe's lead in the creation of banned book clubs. One of the best ways of turning a common book into a bestseller is to ban it.

America's "plain brown wrapper" approach to banned books would be pretty funny, were it not so stupid.

Determining which books are appropriate in schools isnt banning books
Allowing children to be exposed to sexual material often disordered in schools as education is abuse stupidity and grooming. Only a democrat thinks this is OK.

Keep the blindfolds on the kids until they are 18, then turn them loose on the world?

Only a Republican thinks this is OK.

The biggest mistake of the de crats is its approval of sexual deviancy even paraphilias and abnormalities. Imposing anti science gender absurdity on children is an act of cruelty and abuse. The lefts approval of any sexual behavior even involving minors is a mental illness itself.
People who cant define a woman but believe a man can change into one cant be allowed to control education. Or that there are more than 2 genders. Thats anti science absurdity

I have to assume that you are writing this in response to some third world country since I am unaware of any other country banning any book.
If you believe that immature minds should be reading all books then you would must believe that they can also be allowed to drive cars, serve in the military and even vote. Since most sane people believe in restrictions for younger people it is not out of the realm of reality that other restrictions be placed on them.

I doubt 6th graders would have the interest or maturity to understand it

I was reading original sources like Art of War and Achtung Panzer in 6th grade, but I was ahead of most of my class and Catholic schools didn't have advanced classes, so the Library nun gave me access to higher level books than my classmates.

THe left is more concerned about books about queers and trannys being " banned" from children

This has been especially true in the case of the bible.
