What are the qualifications for a thread to be moved there? I posted a thread about a 35 year old running for Senate, and included statistics on how the Senate and House have very few young members.

Did it violate some kind of protocols for being in Politics by mentioning how old our government is?

Yes, the criteria for Zone 1 or 2 forums is to have the OP clean, along with the title.
After that you can mix it up.
But, as to your OP, when you post, "insane Trumpist Ron Johnson.", that is not a clean OP, McRib.
