I don't see how the more radical Democrat contingent in Congress getting stronger helps the Democrat party in general. If anything it hurts them. The country is far more center than extreme right or left. AOC and her fellow squad members don't help anyone but themselves and aren't anymore popular outside their echo chambers than their counterparts on the right are.
