Our Embassy in Cairo was attacked by the equivalence of the MAGAMOB after the Muslins rioted over a trailer, or video besmirching Muhammad. They do that sometimes over comic strips and best selling books and stuff. The Egyptians have gun control and not many armed militias running about, and nobody was killed. In Benghazi however, 2 people died, including the Ambassador, in the under construction but incomplete Consulate Building Stevens was using. Benghazi was full of armed militias. The CIA (Obama's CIA that is, wink wink) folks rescued everybody else from that building after the initial attack and evacuated them to the secure CIA compound a couple of miles away. During the attack the Ambassador and his Aid went to the fortified safe room. Everybody else hid somewhere else. The exhaust fans in the safe room were not installed yet and the 2 men died of smoke inhalation there. 2 more Americans died in a mortar attack at that compound early the next morning when the rescue team from Tripoli finally made it's way from the airport to that CIA compound. That team(Obama's again, wink wink) was sent within about an hour of the attack.

An Iraqi security official said 14 Katyusha rockets were fired Friday, of which some struck near one of the U.S. Embassy’s gates while others fell in the river. The official said the rocket attack caused material damage but no casualties.

A U.S. military official said a multi-rocket attack was launched at American and coalition forces in the vicinity of the embassy complex and the Union III base, which houses offices of the U.S.-led coalition. The official added that no casualties and no damage to infrastructure were reported."
