All boy bands are the same to me. One artificially constructed corporate saccharine entity, to imitate art for profit, is as good as the next, ain't it?

Aren't all musical groups artificially constructed?
I'd say the only "organic" boy bands I know of are the Jackson 5 and The Osmond Brothers.

And isn't that what all bands are in it for? Profit........and fame?

To me, a boy band is any all male group of two or more that started in their teens to their 20's, doing pop, bubble gum, or club/dance music.
