Avoiding American products

In the UK, manufacturing declined under Thatcher. Under Blair, it declined faster and in a shorter timeframe. The reason for service industry is, the cost of labour. So the likes of China, Vietnam, India etc.. will always manufacture and the UK and US won't. It's a galant afford by Trump, but those days are gone.
I am more optimistic of our future.

I've always been against Made in China and I've tried to avoid that shite for years. Unfortunately, you can't always get away from that crap.

Quality and where it's made are my priorities, cost is second. I never buy really expensive, and I avoid buying cheap. Cheap is 99.9999% China junk.

I used to buy nuts from Morrisons (UK supermarket), mainly for cooking. Then they changed, lack of flavour. So when I checked the packaging, it states Produce of USA. So I stopped buying them. In fact, I said this months ago on the forum, wat before the tariff debacle. So I don't boycott US nuts based on tariffs, I avoid them because they're shite. Simple as.
You could have just liked my post. You weren’t buying them before the tariffs and you aren’t buying them now.

The UK buys nearly $30bn more in US product than the US buys off the UK. Your two brain cells says that's mistreating the US.

Ok clown shoes, explain your FUCKING stupidity (what a fucking full blown retard).

How do you feel now?.... Buuuaaahahahahahhaha

Any one not buying U.S.A. Products are missing out on well made products. My shoes and jeans used constantly over five years are still in good shape used from just everyday to a lot of out doors use.

Seems to be a growing theme to avoid Made in America products -

Here in the UK, to pass that message on, some people are highlighting which products are Made in the US by going to a product and turning one upside down. Also, news on the "Made In" app is being promoted more, just install and scan barcodes.

I've installed the app the Google Play store and will give it a whirl. Way before the tariff war days, I avoid peanuts, pistachio nuts etc.. from the US because they're tasteless.

On another note, as the US market becomes unreliable, people are ditching US debt, that means the cost of borrowing to the US government is increasing. So if the interest was $1trillion a year, it's set to increase. Probably why DOGE kicked off cos Trump and Musk knew they needed the savings just to tread water.

Theres "Made 'O' Meter" as well if you want to avoid American products.
Why the drama euro parasite
Most threatened with tariffs they're coming to the negotiation table
I say we go to 250% on the Chinese
It's why the idiots are splashing around proclaiming what a fail for Trump
they have to put that useful idiot rage into something
don't have eggs anymore

maybe the US [the largest producer and exporter of food] should exert stronger leverage against the crumb bum EU ..

Yes, I fully support the US paying the correct amount and shutting the fuck up.

The US in not a great exporter of food because it's shit. Much of it is banned in the UK and EU. Many ingredients are carcinogenic and you have to bleach many things because your hygiene is so poor.

Yes, the United States is a leading food producer and exporter globally. It ranks among the top food producers and is the world's largest food exporter, with exports exceeding $140 billion. While China is a major producer, it is also more reliant on food imports.

You do grain and one of two other things. Many chemicals are banned in the UK and EU, you scoff them by the ton. Even your bread is banned. The conditions your chickens lay eggs in is shite, so you had to wash the protective coating off the eggs and refrigerate them, and you bleach the chicken; so both are banned in the UK and EU.

Basically, your food is shit. Look at the state of your fatties, lower expectancy rate, and bad teeth from the sugar and glue on laminates. You have on average one tooth less than a Brit, yet you're stupid enough to believe the Brit teeth myth.

If you want schooled on any of this, I can dig out links for you. Go down to the cliché section in badlands to read up on the crap you come out with and foolishly believe.

At this moment in time, Trump is wearing flip flops because it's what he's doing with tariffs.

You can mock, pricks always do petty stuff, but most of us did graduate from the playground. Get your parents to change your nappy and get back to me.
