The very names Prussia and Russia are cognate words, only an idiot can doubt it. ...

"Preussen" and "Ruthenen" 200 years ago were words in Austria which have nearly nothing to do with each other. And "Rus" from Russia is anyway a Germanic word and not a Slawic word. Vikings from Scandinavia founded the Rus. The Preussen (Prussians) were by the way the most hated Germans within whole Germany including Austria.

I know enough about the history of Germany to understand that you do not know anything about it. There is no history of Germany in your sense at all. There was no German state until the Gothic period in European art, Magna Germany did not exist, but was only in the plans of the Romans as a Roman province.
What is meant by modern Germany begins only at the end of the 19th century, and this state was created by the Prussians, who are not even considered Germans.
