Very true that the people of Australia were wanting action on climate change, Good for them. I heard that they were well fed up with their government but they have not as is current in Europe/America decide to move in the fascist direction. Perhaps things are better in Australia.

They were one of the worst in the world for coal I think. Of course they are still using fossil fuel like the rest of us. Morrison was not prepared to do anything to prevent the worst of climate change. He was attacked for that view. You can't say that in this woke world, you have to promote 'inclusion'.
One Jewish man in Sydney lost his seat to one such Teal Independent woman. 'Palestinians' was mentioned in the media.
Federal Treasurer also lost his Conservative seat to one such Teal Independent woman. He is also Jewish.
