that's because that figure Yeshu son of Mary is from 100bc which is why the Widows mite story is a Jannaeus Alexander coin not a Herod coin. That figure of 100 bc was Stoned and hanged on passover for breaking forbidden laws. The NT accounts their combined character was slew (stoned) & hanged on a tree not crucified. Which brings me to Shimons comment replying to your Judas comment: Yehuda of 100bc was another christ figure besides Yeshu. He's the one who had a story of feeling guilty for wrongly getting someone sentenced to death. However it wouldn't be about Yeshu' s sentence which was valid to the law of that age whether we agree now in our progressed time or not.in fact there are no historical recordings of the 1st century itinerant son of mary and joseph than their certain crucifixion not initiated by rome nor for any laws having been broken by them.
The silver coin andcit's amount story also somewhat plagiarized from Sholomon I think. It's because they were writing the character into the Bible to sell him as fulfilling the Bible prophecy, however in doing so they often miss interpreted (sometimes comically)the meaning and what was messianic and what had nothing to do with roles or story or expectations of Moshiach.
