[5] was a British
mathematician,
mathematical physicist and
engineer.
He received the
Royal Society's
Copley Medal in 1883, was its

Contrast this with the Wright Brothers’ education and background.
Orville Wright dropped out of high school after his junior year .
In late 1885 or early 1886 Wilbur Wright was struck in the face by a hockey stick while playing an ice-skating game with friends, resulting in the loss of his front teeth. He had been vigorous and athletic until then, and although his injuries did not appear especially severe, he became withdrawn. Wilbur did not graduate from high school either. (Wikipedia.org)
“Heavier than air human flight is impossible.” – Lord Kelvin, 1895
The Wright Brothers first flight was 1903, eight years later.
This elegantly demonstrates the Big Lie always trumpeted by Leftists, viz., "We're smarter than you (simply because we say so), and therefore we're always right and YOU will always be wrong."
Oops! Their premise is wrong and their conclusion is wrong, but they will not stop repeating their Big Lie.
