I`ve bumped into some interesting articles and I wanna share it with you and hear your thoughts about that project. The world`s first space hotel is slated to open in 2027. Orbital Assembly Corporation, the group behind Voyager Station, has announced plans to begin building the hotel in low Earth orbit in 2025. The hotel will be able to accommodate 400 people and it will have a cinema, gyms, health spa, restaurants, libraries, and more stuff

I could see opening a cocktail lounge in outer space. I think that this would be an untapped market.

It seems to me that this project is rather interesting. But there are some scientific problems that are needed to be solved before this project starts building. Also, as for me, I don`t see any necessity of this space hotel. Just imagine how much it would cost to build it. I assume we have more important stuff in space exploration. ( not taking into consideration issues we have on Earth )

In addition to my answer above, I wanna say that I am not a specialist in the area of building such things but still I assume that it`s rather an expensive thing to build and as for me it`s completely needless and useless. In the Earth`s orbit, we already have a lot of space junk which became an issue for space companies. But who knows?) Maybe in 5 years this project of space hotel will not sound so unrealistic)

Will it have a Howard Johnson's?

LOL again not everything on the net is real. Space assembly corporation hit a 1 million dollar fundraising goal for a TRILLION dollar project that would take the combined GDP of the USA, China, Japan and Russia working in tandem 10 years to complete, so they are $999,999,999,999.00 short of funding to just begin. That said you are free to sell the trailer and invest if you so choose. Seriously a 400 person space hotel would take a shuttle type launch every 5 minutes for at least a year and as I said at $10,000.00 per pound it is not happening. Fake news or more market manipulation for buffoons to lose their money in

I agree with you that it`s not likely that that project will be built. I am just a bit appalled that some people spend their time on such useless technology rather than spending time solving some real issues

The cost will come from private investors and thus if it isn't YOUR MONEY, it's not your concern.
