At least 22 children and two adults infected in Texas measles outbreak

The 3% where not effective, yes. I suppose something about the way their immune system works, due to individual genetic, though I am no immunologist. Always exceptions, just like with the Covid inoculations (notice I used "inoculations" not vaccines, recognizing difference) many people, probably vast majority, realizing benefit and protection, even if it only amounted to lighter case. But, there were and are a significant number, whose systemic reactions put them at mortal risk, even death. It invites questions of, 1. what is different in their genetic make up, that react so different? 2. If it is possibly genetic, how can there still be no definitive test to know who would be at risk if taking the inoculation? Worse, (and more cynical), the question, Or is there already such a test? I cannot honestly rule that out, due to possibly very expensive, and again only of benefit to the tiny fraction, those written off by scientific community in the name of maximum benefit over cost and profit ethics or lack there of. Damn! What a cynical sonovabitch paragraph for me to even write!
Honesty is never wasted. lol. THAT is why I want exhaustive studies. I have a Bio-Chemistry Minor and I am in AWE of what they have achieved with mRNA; BUT I want them thoroughly researched and let the SCIENCE go where it may. It may well be that they were amazingly fantastic in very many but also it may be that many also had negative effects; it's a matter of THOROUGH research. Not Science aimed at getting a desired result; Paradigm saturation springs to mind.

It's the Americans in West Texas and New Mexico that are diseased in this outbreak, not the immigrants.
ALL 22 of them?? So who brought the measles in? I did hear once but I can't recall exactly; I think they said a plane passenger. Do go check it out!!! Or was that in Samoa?

An outbreak in Chicago last year: "A prompt and coordinated response with a high-coverage mass vaccination campaign reduced the size and duration of the outbreak."
Measles vaccine failure can occur in two ways: primary vaccine failure (PVF) and secondary vaccine failure (SVF).

Primary vaccine failure

  • Occurs when a person doesn't produce an immune response to the vaccine
  • Estimated to occur in 5% of people
  • Maternal antibodies are the most common cause
Secondary vaccine failure

  • Occurs when immunity wanes or is incomplete
  • Estimated to occur in 2–10% of people
  • Can occur 6–26 years after the last dose

Despite the effectiveness of the vaccine, measles outbreaks can still occur in vaccinated populations. This is because of the possibility of vaccine failure.

Vaccine effectiveness

  • The measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is safe and effective
  • Two doses of the MMR vaccine are about 97% effective at preventing measles
  • One dose of the MMR vaccine is about 93% effective

The MMR vaccine is the best way to protect against measles. You should talk to your healthcare provider about the MMR vaccine, especially if planning to travel.

You are basically saying a LIE!!! Vaccines fail regularly!!!

Frankly 22 cases is fuck all.

Measles Outbreaks Are on the Rise in the U.S. | Smithsonian

Although measles was eliminated from the United States in 2000, outbreaks have occurred since then due to unvaccinated travelers.

2019 outbreak
  • In 2019, the U.S. had almost 1,300 measles cases, the most since the disease was eliminated.

  • The outbreak was largely due to a large outbreak in New York and cases in 30 other states.

  • New York state and New York City accounted for 67% of all cases.
Other outbreaks

  • In 2015, a measles outbreak at Disneyland infected 131 California residents and people in six other states, Canada, and Mexico.
  • In 2019, two California universities had to quarantine over 300 students and faculty after a measles outbreak.

Prevention
To reduce the risk of measles outbreaks, the CDC recommends: Increasing routine vaccination coverage, Encouraging vaccination before international travel, Identifying communities at risk for measles transmission, and Rapidly investigating suspected measles cases.

Global trends
Measles activity globally and in the United States continues to rise.

Although measles was declared eliminated in the United States in 2000, measles cases and outbreaks continue to occur in the United States due to unvaccinated international travelers.13 Feb 2025

The science is doing just that.

Look it up. There is no report of an illegal immigrant being sick in West Texas or New Mexico from the measles.

This was expected as democrats imported millions of third-worlders with no history of vaccinations for diseases largely eliminated in this country.

I certainly expected it. That is just another reason, PJ and I, keep our immunizations up to date. Allowing undocumented walk-ins, without vaccinations, invites diseases into the country, that were not a problem here, for years.

It's not a problem now, but if this gets you vaxxed, go for it.

I was vaxxed as a child in McCracken County, Kentucky, then military vaxxed the hell out of me repeatedly. None ever producing reactions that kept me from duty, in any country, I was sent. Nor have I had reactions to immunizations taken since retirement, with effects requiring anything more than an Advil or Tylenol for a day.

Except for that horn growing out the side of your neck. :auiqs.jpg:

Yes. That is correct. MILLIONS is more than 100k. Millions are more concentrated than the 100k. THe 100k are of a population that has been recieving first world medical care for generations.

Then why is disease and viruses not running rampant in migrant camps, and at the border if migrants are the ones bringing it in?

Are millions of recent migrant children attending schools in texas? That would bring down the entire education system. Asylum cases that are accepted amount to 35-50k in a single year.
