The illegals didn't "start showing up" in 2025. Measles vaccination rates have been falling, from over 95% 20 years ago to around 90%. This increases the likelihood and duration of any outbreak, especially if the vaccination rate is significantly lower among a specific social group, such as orthodox Jewish population in New York where there was a huge outbreak in 2019 that had nothing to do with illegal immigration.
