KISSIMMEE, Fla. —
A Kissimmee police officer was shot and killed and another was gravely injured Friday night while checking on reports of suspicious people.

Kissimmee Police Chief Jeff O'Dell said that Sgt. Sam Howard and officer Matthew Baxter were checking reports of suspicious activity in an area of Kissimmee known for drug activity when they were shot. They did not have an opportunity to return fire.

Some reports, no hype though. Don't worry. No reports of white cops shooting any black criminals. So that is good news.

We had one slashed down in Carson City as well. Fortunately he was able to shoot the perp and survive the attack.

A Carson City Sheriff's deputy who was stabbed with a knife by a suspect Friday evening outside of the Carson Nugget has been released from the hospital and is now home recovering, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said Saturday morning.

The stabbing suspect, who was subsequently shot by the deputy, remains in the hospital, Furlong said. There is no official word on the suspect's condition at this time.

Lol, I was just writing a private message to you to edit my title.

Funny.

Some of these people are just eating up the alt-left narrative of "resistance". Media will not care because it doesn't fit into the narrative, nor fit their political base.

The days of broad, honest news reporting is gone, replaced by political patsies and conmen. Some of them even callously tried to suggest the terror attack in Spain was a copycat of the attack in Charlotteville (as if this method hasn't been used for years by terrorists now), and of course, they link that to Trump.

These anti-police murders are not influenced by anyone though, just random attacks I suppose. Just an officer at the wrong place at the wrong time....right...

Thank the gun culture. This doesn't happen in civilized countries with gun control.

The officers were killed by a BLACK man, so its not news as far as the New York Media is concerned.

No, they use machetes.
No, they don't get killed hardly at all. Lets check on France:
In France, the death of even one police officer in the line of duty, as happened on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on Thursday, is rare. Unlike in the United States, where there are more than 100 such fatalities in a typical year, fewer than a dozen French police officers are killed annually, and sometimes the number is as low as a half-dozen.

In 2015, the year for which the most recent French government data are available, six police officers were killed in the line of duty, according to an October 2016 report by the National Institute of Higher Studies of Security and Justice. In 2014, 11 officers were killed, and the total for the year before that was 10. The numbers dating to 2010 are slightly lower.

French police are targeted but rarely killed

France sounds just like the place for yew!

Lets check on the UK:
How many police die in the line of duty?
More than 4,000 police officers have been killed in the line of duty since 1792, when the first salaried constables went on duty. More than 250 officers have been fatally shot since 1945, according to the National Police Memorial Day website. Since 2010, 11 officers of the Metropolitan police have lost their lives in the line of duty.

There are 207,140 police workers in the 43 police forces of England and Wales. Police officers make up two-thirds of all police workers.

it isn't the gun culture! It's the criminal culture. Law abiding gun owners do not murder cops! The thugs with guns do. Automatic death penalty for killing a cop with zero appeals.

Did anyone ask Lee Rigby what he thinks of cops not having guns?

The problem isn't that the police have guns, it's that they don't use them often enough.
