How will you life be better off after you've reduced income inequality, stopped global warming and eliminated profits? Have you thought about it?

Can you give us some idea of what life is like?

You forgot- eliminate crony capitalism. You know- the relation repubs have w/ the arms manufacturers?

Right, and how will that make you better off?
for one thing it will stop the deficit-spending (borrowing from our bankers- the Chinese) eating out our grand kids future to the tune of 50% of the discretionary budget playing world's police

Hey Frank. Haven't talked in awhile. Hope you are doing well. Its getting to be time for brake work on my old Mustang. May as well do a disc upgrade.

Too big an umbrella for this format.

Reducing income inequality will lead to fewer riots by our "lower classes". Thus you will be able to take your kids to the whistle stop in Ferguson for an ice cream cone comfortably. It will also maintain property values near where the lower classes live.

The trick is to raise their income w/o just giving away money. You also can't take away people's incentive to earn money. Folks just don't run banks or auto companies for free. Doing both requires a decent plan.

Income inequality is many years away, if not decades, if ever. Global warming is Mother Nature, and will be as Mother Nature as always been. Profits will always be made, always.

Glad you're back, Brother

Right you are. Let's just get rid of Capitalism all together. So, get up in the morning, shower, eat your breakfast, hop in your car and head for......... the welfare office.
hyperbole much? :eusa_eh:

FYI- countries like Germany & Canada are doing just fine and didn't get caught up in the orgy of greed in 2008 like Jesusland did.

Thanks for playing.

Canada is NOT Jesusland. Only 34% of Canadians attend church and those that do, skew older. We also don't deny global warming, and we care about our environment

I suspect that the recent left turn in our most conservative province, Alberta, has a lot to do with the environmental devastation in the tar sands, in addition to the scandals plaguing the Conservatives.

Our conservative government is more liberal than yours. And our middle class is growing at the fastest rate in the world.

When the Conservatives were first elected, we had a balanced budget but Bush's economic melt-down put us into deficits too. Harper claims to have balanced the budget this year but it's an election year and no one believes him, because of the drop in oil prices. Harper is dead meat. Too many scandals, refusal to accept global warming, ramming through pipelines and his atrocious treatment of veterans and aboriginals will do him in this election.

So what happens once everyone believes in global warming?
