Asia Trip Kudos to Trump

I’ve been very critical of Trump recently, and rightly so. However, I give him credit for standing up for fair trade.

I was surprised by the degree to which America was played for a patsy by the rest of the world. We generally offered unfettered access to our markets and in exchange we were subject to tariffs, sometimes massive.

In a few months Trump highlighted the issue and has been setting it right.

There’s still a very long road ahead and Trump could be upended by Congress or SCOTUS, but Trump is giving it 100%

There’s a whole laundry list of things I’d like him to do, but he did good here

He was also smart for making the China trip last. By him making deals with other nations FIRST, it put a little more pressure on XI to follow suit.

This is the beauty of having a businessman and NOT a career politician as President. Trump has the business/negotiation skills and the WILL to tackle our ridiculous trade imbalances.

There is one fact no one can dispute, the man works his ass off for America.

I didn't like the deal he made with China. I hope the CIA and military intelligence agencies are making it clear that America must find another source or three for rare earths. Spend the billions to protect millions of lives. They must also slow walk the nvidia chips, ensure that China remains far behind.

If the chip situation were reversed there is no way in hell that China will sell anything remotely advanced when they are in the midst of an A.I revolution.

Spend the billions to protect millions of lives. They must also slow walk the nvidia chips, ensure that China remains far behind.

If the chip situation were reversed there is no way in hell that China will sell anything remotely advanced when they are in the midst of an A.I revolution.

Hopefully, the threat of China halting rare Earths was enough for us to treat it as a national emergency

Ideally I’d like to see the US, Russia and China come to terms on trade and cooperation
