Asbestos in Wind Turbines, cancer causing danger

I am an Electrical Power Research Institute analyst. That encompasses nuclear power plants, fossil power plants, wind turbines, solar plants, and geothermal plants.

My expertise is applicable to any industry that requires metal to be inspected.

I have worked in Brazil many many times. Argentina, Spain, England, Canada, and all across the USA.

I have worked on Los Angeles class, Virginia class, and the Columbia class submarines. I have worked on ships as well.

I have worked in oil refineries and chemical plants.

Currently I work rockets fir SpaceX

You have not refuted one thing I said in my thread. You have not refuted one comment I have made.

Multiple times I have exposed you making comments which are a 100% false.

In this thread you made the ridiculous comment that no wind turbines are in corn fields, I proved that 100% wrong.

You then tried to claim there are no wind farms in the outback yet there is and they are on fatmland.

I get it, you are here to troll and flame, I expect that from you.

This is my thread, hence I am treating you nicer than you deserve.

For me, you are a bore, when you comment, it is a contradiction followed by insults. You are not here to discuss stuff. As all your posts prove.

Good day!
You work fir (sic) SpaceX. Yeah, right!

What is fatmland?

Do you understand the concept of sarcasm?

Welcome to my ignore list.

You are not worth the effort to correct your hyperbole.

Goodbye!

and there you have it, another here just to fight and demean that which they know nothing about, now whining, crying and stammering away.
Effort to correct hyperbole? There is asbestos in Wind Turbines, there is an investigation, a major investigation. Hyperbole, I wish, Wind Turbines cost trillions and give next to nothing, for a very short time.

Years ago, guess what we found the brake pads on my cruiser's boat davits were made of?

You guessed it! We had to have new brake pads made and purge the supply system because our ship was built in the early 1960s when asbestos was as common as dirt. I doubt anyone had ever replaced them in the ships 25-year lifetime.

I can imagine the damage was limited because how often were the brakes even used? There would never be clouds of asbestos as depicted.

China has enough people that mesothelioma killing people is no big deal.

There's likely still a lot of classic cars out there with asbestos brake pads.
One of my cars is a '69 AMX, and I guarantee you the disc brakes on the front, and the drums on the back are both asbestos.

Anytime a storm comes the brakes are put on. The big monster wind turbines can withstand higher windspeeds. The medium to smaller wind turbines can not withstand the same speeds.

Either way, one cloud of asbestos settling on a crop of corn is more asbestos than I care to eat.
The brake pads in question are used on the ELEVATORS used by repair and maintenance crews

A real danger everyone should know about

Boy, I could not make this up if I tried.
The cancer causing asbestos is being used in wind turbines. To what extent is not known. It is now under investigation.

Wimd turbines litter farm fields with micro plastics and chemicals now we find out wind turbines create clouds of asbestos

Asbestos is a friable material that gets trapped in the lungs causing cancer

The problem was discovered in austrailia

The Clean Energy Regulator, SafeWork New South Wales, and WorkSafe Victoria all launched investigations into the discovery.

The investigations prompted other wind farm operators to check their brake pads.

Over the weekend, Goldwind revealed they tested the parts – supplied by Chinese manufacturer 3S Industries – and found they did contain asbestos.
They also put carbon fibers in the air that ends up in our lungs

Not only dp the kill birds and fish poison the air are ugly as hell but cost more and produce zero when the wind stops. Dumbest idea in energy production.
Yeah…. Because other forms of energy production do no harm right?

Yet, outside of the google internet world of make believe epoxy, adhesives, paint is a serious problem requiring repair all year long.

Good point, **** them, let them die of cancer. There is also no need to investigate any further.

Is the scandal just confined to the lifts? Wind turbines also contain large friction clutches, which used to contain Asbestos until Asbestos was banned. Can we be sure there is no Asbestos inside Chinese turbine friction clutches, without dismantling them for inspection?
