Asbestos in Wind Turbines, cancer causing danger

Don't care. I still have Craftsman tools my father bought in the 1960s when I was just a kid. My son will get them soon, what I already have not given him already, that is.

Their hand tools are made in the good old USA. Your information is in error. Most of their power tools are Chinese, but I have none of those. My miter saw is made in Taiwan.
Craftsman were but per a search their tools

Kobalt did make them in the USA but shifting to china, vietnam because of the contract

the USA tools were from the contractor danaher but Kobalt likely switched to another vendor that does not make them here

That's what a search suggests

As always price and profit

not saying they are total shit that breaks the first time but gearing, coating, etc not in it for the long run

there is a reason all dealer mechanics do not use Kobalt or craftsman or Mac anymore......

If cost is no object always use what the pro's use, you won't have regret

You do realize that the dust is only produced when the brakes are used to slow the blades, right? If they are stopped or not applied, there is nothing to create the dust, thus no cloud. How many cornfields are there near wind turbines? Have you never heard of rain? Australia probably has neither.

Do you often eat the shucks from the corn?
Iowa comes to mind. 1000's of wind turbines in the corn fields.
High winds and storms, frequent enough.
Add the asbestos pollution to the micro plastic problem, yes a problem.

Me, no thanks, I dont care to breath any pollutants, asbestos.

How about this mess, care to clean this before or after it is tested for asbestos

this looks like it could turn into a hazmat suit situation instead of a basic clean up, oh the EPA is going to have a total field day with this one

And as if asbestos is not bad enough, leading edge damage scatters trillions of micro plastics, epoxy, paint, fibers, across the corn fields as well. All wind turbines suffer this problem.

If one is rope access qualified this is a "high" paying job, all year round forever, repairing leading edge damage

totally true, that laminate gets sheered off and thrown all over the place

if they made the blades from carbon fiber not and issue but.......$$$$$ as always

Even aluminum would cost more than fiberglass that is likely reinforced

Did you make that post in English because if you did, you failed.

Where are your sources? I provided my link. You did not.

For what it's worth, I don't give a shit because I am not a dealer mechanic and never will be.

They work for me and I didn't spend and arm and a leg for them either.

What ******* corn fields?

Every wind turbine I have ever seen in person or on the internet or even on TV is in the middle of ******* nowhere!

Go to west Texas. Thousands and not a cornfield one. Besides, the OP is about Australia. Not too many cornfields in the Outback.

I simply said if you want to see wind turbines on farm ground go to Illinois

You can bloviate all night, makes no difference to me

Thanks! I agreed with your comment. I merely redirected you to my reality. I will probably never get to Illinois unless my daughter moves to Wisconsin with her Army husband (if they ever get married).
I have traveled from San Diego to Florida on I-10 most of the way. That is where I saw them. No cornfields though. No crops of any kind.

I travel through GA and FL mostly now as my extended family in Florida and that is where my cruises leave. Going on another cruise in January on the same ship we did earlier this month. Couldn't get enough.

I was surprised at the number of solar power farms along I-75 in south GA and north FL. The last few times, they seem to have exploded in size and quantity.

Enjoy your family time. It's precious

You most likely dont follow my dozens of threads on wind turbines, i am an expert, i have even inspected wind turbines. Electricity is where my expertise is needed and where I spent most of my career.

A Cedar County farmer is suing a manufacturer of wind turbines, alleging three turbine fires scattered debris over hundreds of acres of land, damaging his crops.

Nope. Not interested in your fake energy industry.

Thanks for the info. I'll look the next time I am never in Illinois. :D
You are dictating what my OP is about? Asbestos has been found in vesta wind turbines. We have thousands of vesta wind turbines.

Australia, the wind turbines are located on farmland, some farms do grow crops, most of the farmland is for grazing.

West Texas? Texas has over 2 million acres of corn as well as much more land for grazing animals.

I thank you for your comments, even the hostile trolling comments made in ignorance which is 90% of your comments.

I thought your experise was in nuclear plants, I see you are a consummate liar and charlatan. You deserve to me laughed at! Fake.

I am an Electrical Power Research Institute analyst. That encompasses nuclear power plants, fossil power plants, wind turbines, solar plants, and geothermal plants.

My expertise is applicable to any industry that requires metal to be inspected.

I have worked in Brazil many many times. Argentina, Spain, England, Canada, and all across the USA.

I have worked on Los Angeles class, Virginia class, and the Columbia class submarines. I have worked on ships as well.

I have worked in oil refineries and chemical plants.

Currently I work rockets fir SpaceX

You have not refuted one thing I said in my thread. You have not refuted one comment I have made.

Multiple times I have exposed you making comments which are a 100% false.

In this thread you made the ridiculous comment that no wind turbines are in corn fields, I proved that 100% wrong.

You then tried to claim there are no wind farms in the outback yet there is and they are on fatmland.

I get it, you are here to troll and flame, I expect that from you.

This is my thread, hence I am treating you nicer than you deserve.

For me, you are a bore, when you comment, it is a contradiction followed by insults. You are not here to discuss stuff. As all your posts prove.

Good day!
