Arlington, one more thing

Twice in your own thread you have said Harris and Biden did the same thing but never have proved it. I doubt they went to area 60 and took campaign photos, laying the wreath is different and if Trump would have stopped there, no problem. Doesn't matter if the family said it was ok as they don't have the authority.
You've totally missed the point. Biden took an official visit photo op at Sec 60, taken in 2010 on Memorial Day, and in 2020 used that same footage in a campaign ad. What is different?

Trump fans spend 95% of their time back pedaling away from some stupid thing Trump said or did… yet they still plan to vote for the stupid son of a bitch. Birds of a feather.
Not true.

Sometimes they have to change course in seconds to be in favor of something they opposed for decades. Government funded IVF (an elective procedure that costs $15,000) is suddenly a great idea. Repayment of student loans...not so much.

If he used an official public photo, then for all family members and any grave names shown, the cemetery photographers got permission....is my understanding.

Apparently a grave of another dead soldier was shown in Trump's pics, this soldier committed suicide, his family was not asked permission if his grave could be shown....

$15k is cheap...More like $40k + per pregnancy...

The rights of the families of the fallen do not include making rules for what goes on in the cemetery... Sorry.

No they do not....but it still would have been fine for trump to be there with them to lay wreaths or whatever....it was making it a political photo op for his campaign and using it, that broke the rules...

Look at all the crap and pitting of parties that this has caused....exactly what the rule was to prevent. :(

Well commie, I keep looking at the photo you soy bois are in such a tizzy about and I'm not seeing any misbehavior or disrespect. And you still haven't said what was happening off camera that prompted the smiles from everyone involved. If you can't come up with the full story, just admit you're a fucking liar and making shit up as you go.

.
Your son is dead?

Trump: Thumbs UP

That's a laugh from you liberals. You side with McCain. We train our soldiers NOT to be caught by the enemy. What happened to McCain? Why did we bother to give him that training?
WTF is the matter with Conservatives supporting our troops these days?

So why did one side do it with out any media reaction, the same media personnel who has been dogging Trump His entire presidency?

So you didn't watch the video....OK.

Not entirely true, Biden's 2020 campaign used it with absolutely no consequence in his 2020 bid.

Couldn't tell you. I do know he used a photo op in your 'forbidden area' for the same political outcome.

Doesn't let Biden off the hook, he still violated the ANC rules that you now crow about with Trump.

Why is that?
Who knows. All I know is Trump's Arlington stunt made it all the way to Bill Maher's show this weekend. Ban PR for Trump. Can you tell you're on a sinking ship?

Any way you spin it
Trumps attempt at showing his support of the military was a disaster

Former supporters of Donald Trump scathingly explain why they have now ditched the “disgusting” former president ― in favor of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris

The Republican Voters Against Trump group is using the campaign to target conservative-leaning independents and undecided Republicans in the key swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nebraska throughout September

Videos featuring former Trump voters detailing their switch to Harris in the 2024 election will air on TV, streaming platforms, online and radio across the states, said the Republican, anti-Trump organization.
The individuals cite Trump’s “treatment of women,” his role in inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol in a bid to overturn his 2020 election loss, his conviction in his hush money trial and warn of what will happen in a second term.

See a compilation of their testimonial clips here:

“help elevate the voices of these disaffected Republicans and build a permission structure for many other traditional GOP voters to reject Donald Trump and his MAGA movement, even if it means voting for Democrats with whom they might have policy differences.”
The group has long been a thorn in the Republican presidential nominee’s side and has frequently used statements from former Republicans to condemn the twice-impeached, one-term president.

Trump’s 2021 decision to throw then-Vice President Mike Pence “under the bus and ... to the wolves and the lions” for not helping him overturn the 2020 election result made Beth “sick to my stomach,” she says.
She says she’d back any rival if Trump’s “evil” is on the ballot, and acknowledges that President Joe Biden’s administration has been “a bit refreshing.”
“I’ll take kind, older man any day over the tyrant,” she says.

A third clip shows a man named Dennis, identified as a former service member, condemning Trump for reportedly making derogatory comments about U.S. veterans and war dead.

But it was OK when Biden did it.

Well, show me the dated picture.

That Trump was invited does not change that Trump brought a camera crew to film it all to use for a political ad.
It says a lot that our military families didn't even invite Biden and Harris. If you want to respect the wishes of military families then respect their wishes and vote for Trump.
