As the economic policies of Argentine President Javier Milei keep taking their toll on ordinary citizens, state workers represented by the ATE (Asociación de Trabajadores del Estado) labor union will stage a 36-hour stoppage on Oct. 29 and 30 to seek a course change. “We can't stand this government any longer,” ATE Secretary-General Rodolfo Aguiar said Tuesday. “We have to deepen the plan of struggle,” he added after a federal plenary with delegates from all over the country.

The honeymoon is over. One can have the best policies in the world if they are not implemented well they will go nowhere.

I also do not think it helps Milei that he is living like a rock star while more than half the country is in poverty.

A lot of countries are going through austerity.

The Tremendous Nation of Guinea is another that is cutting expenses.

Its the only way to get things under control

Let's hope he brings out the tanks and mows the ungrateful bastards down.
Those same workers had a 24 hoiur strike and it failed .
Now they are daring to be off work for an extra 50% of time .

It is the uncaring and selfish action of Sheeple that brings a country to its knees .
No thought for others . The very people who gave them a job and tolerated their mean natures are the ones to suffer .

Communism is for the Selfish Sheeple .

Its a sad day when a politician who walks around with an actual axe loses support. He is fucked, The austerity policy has been tried and failed miserably.

The "cold turkey change" method may work with an individual, rarely does it with a group.

Then add in that he is trying to build up the military in time when everyone else is starving, plus flying around the world living high. I read where Boris Johnson is setting up a meting between Miele and Mick Jagger.
