I have more freedom than I have had in the last 20 years. The massive enslavement of America started with 0bama with the loss of free speech. Trump has restored some of that, but not all. You know, where saying un-PC things in private years ago can cost you your career. Think Jon Gruden. Think Paula Deen. But it only goes one way. Think Jay Jones. Think Joe Biden. Think Fat Rosie.

Trump has threatened to pull the licenses of news stations who don't report nice things about him. He's sued news outlets for billions (all dismissed). He's restricted access to the white house press pool. This is your idea of "restoring" freedom of speech? Tell me, what you say, if a democrat president was doing all those things? Would you say, he was "restoring" freedom of speech?

If you go around being a racist asshole in public, today, outside of your job and you get outed in a viral video, you'll likely be fired once it gets out who you work for. Nothing has changed. Trump isn't going to "pardon" you. Nor did Obama have a thing to do with this when it happened under his watch. The first amendment doesn't protect you from being fired from your job. It just protects you from being persecuted by the government.

Although I have to admit that President Trump is not well liked up here in Canada there is a possibility that the truth about what he has been doing, [and some of the possible motives that he may have had], could come out up here in Canada.

Then again, the Mayor and councillors of Toronto are suing a guy for selling a T-shift the proceeds of which are being donated to food banks!

Thread 'Sankofa Square? Why the new name?'

Actually, although I really do like the reporters at Rebel News, I do believe that the name "Sankofa Square" is kind of catchy and sets up Hollywood North for some movies, and potential reality films and even potential semi-reality science fiction films, that could cause the Canadian film industry to boom.

Is it possible that the Mayor of Toronto hasn't really clued to all the death and bloodshed that we Canadian emigrants from Europe had to go through to make Canada a place where there used to be a high level of freedom of though and even a decent level of economic freedom?
