Supposedly if you can stand on 1 leg for 30 seconds you are. Passed this fairly easily. 64, up at 6 putting in 9 to 10!hrs a day. Looking good. Feeling Good

If they had come up with a test most people failed, you wouldn't have shared their link...

Glad you are feeling good and all that, but I am not exactly sure their metric is legit.

What if I can stand on two feet for 60 seconds, is that an equal comparison since I took 30 seconds x 2?
 
Just about 60 and I still work residential construction. Still climbing roof systems, working at heights, carrying heavy crap, working outdoors a lot in all seasons and probably go up and down stairs enough to climb a 50 story tower every day while carrying crap and wearing tool bags.

Most of my buddies my age have lived a sedentary lifestyle, gained weight and couldn't handle my line of work. Two have passed away of heart issues, one at 57 and the other at 61.

Not a gray hair yet either. But I keep the whiskers shaved as those suckers get really gray.

Take care of your body joints don't wear them out. I worked in the same industry and type of work sincea young teen.👍

The one I do is one minute holding your leg at a 90 degree angle. Then do it for the other leg for one minute. Great for core strength and balance.

Yeah, I definitely feel the aches and pains when I quit for the day. Relaxing hurts more than working it seems.

I found out that some people never get grey hair.

Just kidding. Saving that move for when I get a bit older, I was actually just heading out for some HILL running. just a couple miles worth ;)
 
At 75 I do almost everything that I've done for my entire adult life. I stopped running on purpose, and shifted to interval training on my stationary bike, biking, hiking, lifting weights, stretching, golf, bowling, and taking daily naps.

Because some of these things can be measured, I know exactly how much I am slowing down. At 50 I was driving a golf ball 240-250 yards, and now 200 is a good drive. I ride my bike at 10mph rather than 15, I walk at 2.8mph rather than3.5, and so on.

It isn't graceful, but I can accept the deterioration without too much complaining.

I'm 5 years older than you but can still get my drives over 250 yards. But I have to use a driver instead of a 3 wood to do it! :auiqs.jpg:
