I'm well aware of Thiel and Vance. I live in Ohio and have followed J.D.'s career for some time.
I'm not sure about Thiel. He's obviously very wealthy and Vance was able to hitch his star to him for a time.
The problem is that EVERYBODY in politics has questionable connections/friends/relatives/whatever.
To say I've been impressed with Vance would be a gross understatement. I think he's one of the most unique politicians of my lifetime and I think he'll be a great President when he takes the oath on January 20 of 2029.
