Yes, you can call it a success, when you take into consideration the millions of lives its saved based on covering people who could not previously afford nor access coverage.
That said, the Democrats have NEVER stated, nor suggested in any way that Obamacare was perfect. Their message has always been it's a stepping stone in the right direction, AND that it needs to be improved upon, aka fixed. ALWAYS.
why are you asking about Democrats now when Republicans control the Three (3) levels of government AND they've been screaming for 7 years, yes SEVEN, that's how long they've been opposing it, stop flinging poop by talking about reading the damn bill, and they've not done ONE thing to do even what they said. You can't expect the Dems to destroy what took them blood and toil to build.
What you should be asking is...is the Republican answer to the American healthcare situation BETTER or WORSE than Obamacare.
