Are mods allowed to call USMB members child molesters or perverts?

Today, I noticed that a mod, on one and the same thread (in a sub-forum we are not supposed to link to from the open forum), called the OP of said thread a child molester and called another member a NAMBLA member, which is undoubtedly the equivalent of calling someone a "pervert".

These are things that would get a "normal" member of USMB banned in a minute.

I am curious: are mods allowed to break USMB rules with impunity? Is this the direction we are now going in?

Yes they can break rules with impunity and this is the direction we are going. Any other questions?

First off where is it writ that pervert means pedophile? Perversions come in many styles and the majority of them are legal. Secondly I did not accuse the member of being a NAMBLA member... I ASKED him if he was...
